Two decades of music industry experience, and currently the President of MySeat Media. Based in Montreal, MySeat allows artists to create branded mobile apps where they can bypass algorithms and identify their superfans to build stronger connections, and create new revenue streams selling directly to their fans. Before joining MySeat, I spent 13 years at musician website platform Bandzoogle. As Chief Relationship Officer, I oversaw all departments at Bandzoogle related to growth and retention, including business development, marketing & communications, and customer support. Prior to Bandzoogle, I managed several live music venues, co-founded the Montreal Folk Festival, and produced the documentary film "What is INDIE? A look into the World of Independent Musicians" featuring CD Baby Founder Derek Sivers, and the Founder of Sonicbids, Panos Panay (now President of The Recording Academy / GRAMMY Awards). And yes, that’s my real name.
