About Dave Cornthwaite

Dave is a motivational speaker, adventurer, author and podcaster. He specialises in presenting about adventure, creating habits and using positive mindset to make an impact, with recent keynotes delivered to Facebook, Apple and Tedx audiences in Brussels and London. Dave has travelled over miles under his own steam, completing 14 non-motorised journeys over miles as part of the project. These journeys include record breaking distances, from skateboarding across Australia to stand up paddle boarding the length of the Mississippi River. In 2012 Dave founded SayYesMore, a lifestyle enterprise designed to be the final nudge for people exploring a different, more passionate direction in their lives; whether this be a new job, a lean start up, a charitable project or an endurance adventure. In 2015, after deciding to turn his Facebook audience into real people, Dave founded the YesTribe, which now has thousands of members who are passionate about the outdoors and making their moments count. Dave spends his time travelling the world, presenting his keynote speech to companies and communities, creating content for destinations and travel agencies, and occasionally jumping on a new form of non motorised transport to travel a great distance. In late 2020 he moved to a new home in Lincolnshire, England, where he is setting up an outdoors retreat basecamp with camping, glamping, alpacas and events, called the Big Sky Hideaway.
