Spearhead the development of high-level strategic marketing/advertising partnerships for KHQ-TV's and SWX-TV's special broadcast properties including Hoopfest, Bloomsday Road Race, NAIA World Series, Big Sky and West Coast Conference athletics, and Washington & Idaho high school athletics. Directed the effort to sell the naming rights to the KHQ/SWX sports studio, as well as the major presenting sponsorship of Hooptown USA Esports Tournament. Position also includes on-camera talent co-hosting for KHQ's Spring & Fall Home Design Guides and the KHQ Holiday Showcase, featuring top home improvement and retail businesses in the Inland Northwest. Moonlight as a play-by-play announcer for SWX-TV. Top assignments include Gonzaga University Baseball, NAIA World Series, Arena Football, Washington state high school basketball tournament, and Greater Spokane League high school sports. Enjoy public speaking/presenting, having spent more than two decades in TV broadcasting and emceeing numerous charity fundraisers. Another strength is the ability to quickly build and maintain relationships with clients. Not afraid of cold calls. Writing is also a strong skill, having spent two years writing for a New England city newspaper while attending graduate school. Organized and goal-oriented team player proficient in MS Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook). Volunteer my time planning my annual charity golf event -'The Cotton Classic' benefiting Meals on Wheels Spokane, including soliciting corporate sponsorships. The event has raised more than $950K to feed homebound seniors in Spokane. Also serve on the YMCA of the Inland Northwest's corporate board. Duties including raising funds for the Y's 'Annual Campaign' and serving on the board's marketing committee. I also volunteer my time as an emcee for several local charity fundraisers. Attend church at Life Center Spokane and serve as an Honorary Commander at Fairchild Air Force Base. Gave TED talk on importance of community service at Fairchild AFB's inaugural 'LIFT' speaker summit in April, 2017. In my spare time I enjoy biking, golf, guitar, cross country skiing and boating/water sports.
