About Dave Dion

With over 25 years of experience in providing exceptional customer service, I am currently the director at Chambers County MUD, a political subdivision of the State of Texas that offers water, sewage, drainage, and other vital services to the community. I am responsible for overseeing the operations, budget, and personnel of the district, ensuring compliance with the Texas Commission of Environmental Quality and other regulations, and enhancing the quality of life for the residents and businesses of the area. My core competencies include disaster preparedness, active listening, supervisory skills, leadership, communication, time management, and conflict resolution. I have a strong background in emergency response and humanitarian service, having served in the USAF as an aircrew life support technician, and worked as an international flight attendant for Continental Airlines, where I received the Chairman's Award for saving the lives of two passengers on separate occasions, and volunteered as a paramedic with Cypress Creek EMS. I also hold certifications in National Incident Management System, National Response Framework, and Introduction to Incident Command Systems from FEMA. I am passionate about protecting and serving the community, and I am always open to new adventures and challenges.
