I have twenty years’ experience in the mineral resource industry primarily in Southern Africa (Namibia, Botswana, Mozambique and South Africa) but also in Tanzania, Burkino Faso and the Republic of Congo. This has included many aspects of mineral exploration including target generation, designing work programmes, permit applications, country profile reviews, managing field crews, project management, raising funds, co-authoring CPR’s, forming JV agreements, incorporating companies and implementing work programmes. My experience is primarily in Ni-Cu-PGE exploration but includes Au and potash exploration (and resource evaluation) as well as identifying, acquiring, evaluating and forming JV agreements on eight coal projects. I have also gained commercial experience through running junior exploration companies and have evaluated the financial viability of Ni; coal, Au and potash projects.
