About Dave Dufour

Currently, I am co-founder at AWL-Electricity a company whose mission is to revolutionize the world of wireless electricity transfer. I own DEC in electronics and later I worked in the world of telecommunications by installing cellular equipment. I did that for a while, but I was missing something. I wanted to do something more stimulating. So, I went back to do a bachelor’s degree in Automated Production Engineering at the School of Advanced Technology. During my studies, I completed two internships in R&D. The first in a company doing the development and design of augmented reality welding simulator. The second company, is a company that manufactures foot orthotics. My mission with this company was to help them modernize their manual manufacturing processes to transition to 3D modeling and 3D printing of orthotics Also during my studies, friends and I took advantage of an entrepreneurship course to start a business. While having this project, I started working as a LabVIEW programmer. For about 1.5 years, I have accumulated knowledge in programming, machine control and data acquisition. Currently, I am 100% focused on AWL-E
