About Dave Fraser

I have always loved to show case peoples talents and tell their stories using imagery, sound and music. I started my career as a news photographer, where I learned to work under deadlines and think quick on my feet and meet the challenges of live television. From there, I moved onto the freelance world as a sports camera operator, working as part of a remote crew to broadcast college and professional sports through out New England. Later, I enhanced my production skills, working for a local PBS affiliate. I learned the art of studio and field lighting and mastered the craft of videography. I am well versed in documentary, news features, and digital storytelling projects; with an emphasis on arts, education, societal issues, healthcare, and history/culture. I also have experience in planning and research; conducting in-depth interviews, writing, and crafting original stories for the web and broadcast. My technical skills include videography, photography, editing, lighting and sound. I am also an Adjunct Instructor on the College level, teaching the technical side of creating engaging digital content.
