About Dave Garlow

Since retiring, after 35 years in the Plumbing and Heating Industry, I have served on advisory boards of family owned companies and have consulted a number of companies on topics including CRM implementation, employee recruiting and retention and foreign company product launches in N. America. I am available for Board positions, interim roles and consulting on organization building and sales related topics for small to mid size companies of less than 250 employees. Committed to educating the next generation of leaders, I am a part time instructor teaching high school students in STEM. I have served on the Board of Directors of the Petroleum Club and Governing Board of The Kansas Cosmosphere and Space Center and am a former member of Vistage. With a degree in mechanical engineering, I began my career as a sales engineer with a manufacturer’s rep firm in Pittsburgh. Throughout my career, I have been recruited into sales and product management positions in the commercial, industrial, and residential HVAC, plumbing and hydronic heating industries. During my 20-year tenure at Viega, LLC I served for 13 years as VP Sales and then as CEO. Establishing and building a motivated sales organization, profitably growing sales revenue, establishing industry leading training programs and moving manufacturing to the US are some accomplishments of the teams I lead.
