About Dave Haas

With over 14 years of diverse experience in NGOs, digital marketing, photography, video production, and fundraising, I am now specializing in Digital Asset Management (DAM). As a certified DAM administrator with credentials from Rutgers University and Acquia, I help organizations streamline and optimize their digital content. I have spent 7 years in the U.S. as a Media Production Manager and Digital Asset Manager, and for the past 7 years, I've been working in Romania as a Communication & Development Manager for The Salvation Army. My current focus is managing digital assets for the organization globally while supporting the expansion of its communication, fundraising, and partnership efforts in Romania. My background in photography, filmmaking, marketing, and PR enriches my approach to managing digital assets, ensuring that creative content is organized, accessible, and efficiently used to support strategic goals. In addition to my professional expertise, I hold an RYA certified Coastal Skipper license and have logged over miles of sailing. I’m passionate about photography, especially in portraits, weddings, events, and documentaries. Outside of work, I enjoy cycling, sailing, skiing, football, travel, and exploring history and culture.
