About Dave Hanlon

With 20 years of experience in the IT industry, moving through enterprise technical infrastructure expertise to management and leadership of large teams. Most recently I have undertaken leadership roles with a focus on team enhancement and continuous improvement. It is always difficult being strong technically and moving into management but I have enjoyed the challenge, while experiencing some excellent, some developing and some terrible people in the industry. Harsh but unfortunately very true. Understanding how IT infrastructure works and being part of a team has allowed me to have conversations on all levels. Including securing large funding for improvement projects. As a Leadership and Management (ILM lvl 5) holder, I enjoy working with people and developing strong teams, identifying the vision to make objectives a reality through appropriate and effective planning. But above all, applying common sense in a world where acronyms and fad words rule.
