As a certified professional engineer and R&D Manager at Thermon, I have over 20 years of experience in designing, developing, and launching new products and technologies for various industries, including oil and gas, power generation, transit, rail, HVAC, and filtration. My core competencies include R&D management, stage gate process, business management, continuous improvement, cost management, budgeting, test lab management, and project management. I am also a subject matter expert in thermal performance of electric and gas heating products, and have extensive knowledge of certification standards and bodies, such as CSA, UL, Intertek, IEC, ASHRAE, ASME, etc. At Thermon, I lead a team of talented engineers and technicians in transforming conceptual ideas into marketable products and technologies, using the corporate stage gate process. I also review, evaluate, and prioritize R&D activities, make recommendations for department growth and capability enhancement, and manage the new product and technology roadmap. My mission is to deliver innovative and high-quality heating solutions that meet the needs and expectations of our customers, while ensuring safety, reliability, and efficiency. I am passionate about finding new ways to improve and optimize our products and processes, and to create value for our stakeholders.
