About Dave Klooster
I have nearly 30 years of experience mostly in the commercial lending area, and specifically through SBA financing. I've assisted hundreds if not a thousand small businesses in finding and obtaining financing to start, grow and sell their small businesses. I also have started a side career - in academia. In 2018 I started my college teaching career as an adjunct professor by Cornerstone University teaching their Professional and Graduate Studies classes in Finance and Economics. During the 2019-2020 school year I taught economics and finance full time for Houghton College while also helping them start and grow their fledgling MBA program. Now I'm back in industry, leading the SBA lending efforts of Arbor Financial Credit Union - one of the largest credit unions in West Michigan. We're growing the program tremendously and are poised to be a leading SBA lender on this side of the state.
