My favorite quote from a charity I helped was:"Big guy, big ideas, big results!" At 6'8", I guess I tend to stand out in a crowd. For over 35 years, I have used the unique gifts God has given me to help non-profits assist others. Years ago, I came up with a unique definition for "ROI" for non-profits: Retain current donors, Obtain new donors and Increase the amount of gifts via mutually beneficial relationships. Developing strong relationships and using innovative marketing strategies has allowed me to raise over $50M for charities such as Boys & Girls Clubs, YMCAs, universities, and small faith based ministries. I am currently serving as the Director of Advancement for an amazing charity/ministry: Best Christmas Ever. We share the love of Jesus by blessing families in HUGE ways that all meet the following criteria: 1) They are in a difficult situation via no fault of their own.(60% of are dealing with cancer) 2) They must have children under 18 years old 3) The family must not know they are being nominated.
