I’m an accountant currently serving as the Controller of Vision Telecom, a company which I co-founded and contributed to building from the ground up. With 25+ years of experience managing critical accounting activities, I facilitate essential internal processes while upholding compliance with financial regulations. I established all of the company’s accounting and human resources systems, implementing key processes and managing relationships with payroll services, insurance companies, attorneys, brokers, and other third parties. Since we launched the business, I’ve worked closely with the team to enable fully remote operations, including introducing new accounting technology as necessary. By migrating our financial processes to digital payroll and accounts payable platforms, I’ve secured time savings and enhanced operational efficiency for all team members. I also provide commission calculations and audits for select companies on an outsourced basis, creating an additional monthly revenue stream for Vision Telecom. By analyzing large financial data sets, I equip these companies with accurate commission payment calculations based on their receipts, ensuring they receive proper rates and payments. Commission clients have utilized these findings to verify revenue flows for potential investors. In addition to leading accounting procedures, including internal controls, AR/AP, billing, account reconciliation, and more, I supervise our administrative employees and have participated in the hiring process for all administrative roles at Vision Telecom.
