Background
About Dave Orshinsky
Business professional with over 36 years of experience in recreation management, special event planning, budget preparation and control, customer service delivery and training, human resources and marketing/sales. I have a passion for recreation and active-living, and all the benefits that they bring towards a better quality of life! Now that I am retired from municipal recreation, I have even more time to plan, organize and host live events with great charitable partners and local agencies! A few of my current events include The Start HERE Go Anywhere 4K at St. Clair College with all 3 years of our SRM students, The PureKids Triathlon Series Windsor race, Run with Responders 5K honouring all our first responders, and The Rubber Duck Race with the Hospice of Windsor-Essex!Teaching part-time at St. Clair College in the Sport and Recreation Management (SRM) program allows me the opportunity to share my knowledge with our students. It's truly a privilege and an honour to be mentoring future sport and recreation leaders!
