Dave Paulsen is Chief Executive Officer of ARS, a financial product innovator that designs, develops, and facilitates distribution of institutional lifetime income solutions. With over 30 years of financial services experience, Dave brings credibility, leadership, and a knack for connecting with people to everything he does. He has a long history of Executive leadership in the financial services industry along with years of experience leading and growing a business. Dave is passionate about helping Americans prepare for retirement. As CEO of ARS, Dave is responsible for the vision, strategy, and oversight of day-to-day initiatives that are revolutionizing the retirement industry. Previous to ARS, Dave worked as President of Individual Solutions at Transamerica, leading the largest division in the U.S. which focused on delivering solutions to individual consumers in the U.S. and Canada. Focused on the importance of creating and managing sustainable solutions that balance the needs of the consumer, the distributors and the shareholders, Dave lead the functions contributing to a successful stand-alone business of Individual Solutions for Transamerica. In addition, Dave served on the Board of Directors for an international joint venture in Japan. As CEO of World Financial Group and Transamerica Financial Advisors, Dave gained valuable retail experience leading a Broker/Dealer and an Independent Agent Platform of over agents/advisors. Dave spent a large portion of his career as Chief Distribution Officer for Transamerica. He has led sales and marketing for Retirement Plans, Annuities, Mutual Funds, Life Insurance, Voluntary Benefits, Long-Term Care and Stable Value. His focus on using data to drive decisions and digital engagement to enhance the experience for customers and distribution partners has contributed to the long-term success for the team.
