Dave Pym is a Occupational Health, Safety and Security professional with a reputation in the industry as a leader in driving change and finding efficiencies within an organization. Dave’s diverse Security, Safety and Emergency Preparedness background as well as a facilitator of training programs enable Dave to lead initiatives and organizational change with proven success. With 10 years of experience in the private security sector with a focus within the healthcare sector, Dave is able to facilitate a culture of safety and patient centered care in the programs that he oversees. Dave holds multiple designations in crisis management, effective communications, emergency preparedness, incident management systems, as well as being able to design and facilitate programs to promote a health and safety culture. Dave currently leads a diverse and multidisciplinary Health and Safety team at Quinte Health with a focus Risk Assessment and Mitigation. In addition, Dave is a volunteer Firefighter and a Professor of Risk Management at Loyalist College in the Justice Studies program.
