About Dave Regan

I've been a full time Professor of Practice teaching undergraduate and graduate students in advertising/marketing related courses at Michigan State University (East Lansing, MI) since 2001. I've also taught at the University of Michigan~Ross School of Business (Ann Arbor, MI) as well as for The College for Creative Studies (Detroit, MI). Before joining MSU, I worked full time at various ad agencies including global giant J. Walter Thompson (6 years). The partial list of brands worked on are Heinz, Black & Decker, Ford (regional, national and international), State Farm, Harley-Davidson, Windsor Foods, 3M, A&W Restaurants, Chrysler, Republic Banks, White Castle, General Motors, HoneyBaked Ham Co, Caterpillar, ReMax, AC Delco and many more. I've been interviewed and quoted in the Wall Street Journal (twice), NPR Radio, The Detroit News, ABC TV, NBC TV, Lansing State Journal and various other media like The Talent Zoo.com. I've been honored to have spoken at Harley-Davidson University, GM In Overdrive and other venues. I've served as a Judge for industry awards/shows like the ADDY's, The Crystal Awards as well as having won various ADDY's, TELLY's, DMAD's, CADDY's and others. Specialties: Integrated Advertising and Marketing Communication, 360 Branding. Consultant and Speaker. Bringing real companies together with MSU senior adv./mktg. students to create fresh and innovative ideas. A passion for riding horses and Harley's, kayaking, skiing and snowshoeing.
