Currently, I support all Videoconferencing equipment and providers, including Poly, Logitech, Neat, Zoom, Teams, Webex, Google Meet, and AV over IP. Early in my career, I was part of a special group at Verizon, which provided TV coverage for Los Angeles sporting events, including UCLA basketball, tennis, baseball, volleyball, and track; the LA Open and other golf tournaments; presidential debates; and Vandenberg Space Shuttle launches. We built a fleet of customized trucks for microwave emergency restoration for 167 central offices. I also climbed many radio towers and telephone poles and took radio measurements on Strawberry Peak for the FAA radio site serving LAX.Years later, my role changed to Videoconferencing director, where I managed 65 videoconferencing locations across the US, requiring strong leadership and organizational skills. I was responsible for monthly officer video meetings and for the technology used by WellPoint CEO Leonard Schaeffer. My commitment to the role was evident in my 24/7 on-call availability while at Verizon Communications, and in my responsibility for cleaning up classified information after all executive conferences. For a short time after Verizon, I worked on video arraignment systems, including those at the Superior Court of California, County of Los Angeles, and the Glendale Courthouse. I also installed and maintained Smart Courtrooms in Dodge City and Hawaii.For 20 years, I have supported installations, troubleshooting, and Videoconferencing integrations, utilizing service providers such as BlueJeans, Zoom, Teams, and Google.
