I am a deft writer and have extensive experience in crafting and refining copy for digital and print pieces. I am proficient in a variety of software and programming languages including R, VBA, Java, Excel, QuickBooks, Adobe, Ableton, Finale, and Digital Performer. I have a deep passion and respect for music’s limitless potential to connect people and ideas. I have over a decade of experience in creating award-winning freelance compositions, orchestrations, and arrangements. My work spans numerous styles including classical, electronic, ambient, and cinematic orchestration. Through my work, I strive to weave melodic phrasing with polytonality and chromaticism in order to achieve impressionistic, synesthetic overtones. I have been playing piano for over twenty years and love to provide private lessons in my spare time. I have loved music theory since childhood and enjoy explaining its elements to students of all ages and musical backgrounds, as well as coaching them on proper positioning, posture, and finger technique. I believe that music is an innate human language and that we all have something meaningful to say.
