With over 23 years of purchasing experience and inventory/storeroom management experience, I am an Operations Buyer at Greenstone Gold Mines, a leading gold producer in Canada. I have a CSCMP (Certified Supply Chain Management Professional) certification, which demonstrates my knowledge and skills in supply chain management. As an Operations Buyer, I am responsible for reviewing, issuing, matching, and confirming requisitions, purchase orders, and receipts, as well as handling logistics and working with different logistical companies to ensure timely delivery of parts and materials. I also work with site management and finance to support capital and major capital upgrades and repairs, project management and execution, and year-end audits. I am proficient in purchase orders, inventory analysis, inventory accuracy, and working with vendors and employees to ensure smooth and efficient operations. I am motivated by the challenge and opportunity to contribute to the success and sustainability of the mining industry.
