In my current role as Vice President and Head of Enterprise Architecture at Global Payments, I lead the definition and execution of architectural strategies globally for the Merchant business segment. I have developed multiyear modernisation strategies based on microservices architecture and cloud-native principles, while implementing enterprise governance frameworks to drive consistency, transparency, and strategic alignment across 20 or more countries. My experience includes building and leading high-performing, globally distributed teams of enterprise architects, solution architects, and business analysts. I established a formal Technology Partnership function that enhanced engagement with regional business leaders and increased internal satisfaction scores. I have supported technical due diligence and post-acquisition integration planning across multiple global acquisitions, ensuring architectural compatibility, risk mitigation, and continuity of service. My earlier experience includes delivering architectural and integration consulting projects with Deloitte Ireland, where I worked with clients such as the Courts Service of Ireland and VHI to modernise and stabilise legacy platforms. At OpenJaw Technologies, I delivered Java-based travel distribution platforms. My technical foundation was built at Irish Life Investment Managers, where I worked extensively on PL/SQL development, ETL integration, and data architecture.
