About Dave Twisleton-Ward

Over 20 years experience in Higher Education, with a wide set of skills, experiences and interests. I’m currently Systems Process Automation and Workflows Manager within UCL Computer Science, working with Microsoft Power Platform, Dataverse and Powerapps to enhance and automate departmental data processes. Until 2023, my main role was mostly hands-on IT Hardware, Audio-Visual and Network support. Within our group I had a focus on Service Management, and completed several ITIL Lifecycle and Capability modules. And I was Departmental Safety Officer, for added fun! Supporting the teaching activities of the Department, I have planned and implemented CS learning spaces, and acted as a client for several student projects. I provide guidance and support for teaching and research events where high quality AV is critical to remote engagement in hybrid sessions. I have an excellent understanding of issues surrounding research and teaching, having completed a PG Certificate in Learning Technologies at UCL in 2011, focusing on Group Dynamics and Technology Mediated Collaboration, as well as co-authored research papers. Having a broad view of things I have always had an interest in the connections between people, organisations and processes.
