About Dave Webster
I have over 20 years experience within Higher and Further Education sectors at both a national and international level. I have a PhD in Educational Research from Lancaster University that focused on the Art and Design curriculum and the relationship of 'student agency' to 'knowledge/knowing'. I am passionate about Art and Design pedagogy and its development and have led and worked on many curriculum innovations within post-graduate, undergraduate and further education. These have particularly focused on equity, diversity and inclusivity and this has led to work in widening participation, addressing the awarding gap and the support of all students. Taking a practice-based approach to staff development I have developed many innovative opportunities. More recently I have been responsible for Digital Learning and the move of courses to fully online and blended learning models.
