In addition, during his 23-year tenure at UnitedHealth Group, he held positions as president, UnitedHealthcare; president and chief executive officer, Specialized Care Services (now OptumHealth); and senior vice president, Corporate Development. Prior to joining UnitedHealth Group, Dave was a partner at Arthur Andersen & Co. Dave serves as a director of Boston Scientific. He previously served on the boards of UnitedHealth Group Incorporated and Tennant Company. Dave received his B.S. in accounting from Illinois State University.
