With over ten years designing VDP and web-to-print solutions, performing and mastering prepress tasks, and creating automated software solutions, my skillset covers everything from graphic design and its technical applications in print and web media to writing software and creating automated software systems. I am a problem-solver with a passion for finding and executing the best possible solutions. If I encounter a challenge which requires a technology I've never used, I dedicate myself to learning and implementing it. I believe data is king. Starting with solid data as a foundation, I can build intuitive and logical systems that surpass expectations. Prepress and graphic design tools: Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, Acrobat Pro, Pitstop Pro, Quite, and GMG PrintFactory. Software development tools: HTML, CSS, Java, JavaScript, Node.js, Typescript, C#.NET, VB.NET, ASP.NET, Razor Pages, SQL Server, SQLite, MySql, Access, XML, iTextSharp, XMPie and QLingo. CMS experience with WordPress, nopCommerce, NowPrint, and a custom PHP-based CMS. In addition, I have over 20 years of experience building computers, performing system maintenance and repair, and a solid understanding of computer hardware. I have extensive experience with Windows and OS X professionally, and Linux as a hobby. I am a computer handyman with both software and hardware. My friends called me the Computer Monk in college due to my unrelenting dedication to computers, favoring tinkering with Linux over going out and socializing.
