About Davecia Cameron

Microbiology MS from Florida International University, undergrad Biology and Chemistry from Barry University, Miami, FL with 18 years of continuing medical education (CME) industry experience. I am currently responsible for the content development of CME/CE/CPE-certified activities. I also manage a team of Medical Education Directors focusing on Neurology/Psychiatry/Women's Health/Rare Diseases. I collaborate with national and international medical key thought leaders, and internal and external stakeholders to provide up-to-date and vital scientific/medical and educational information in a variety of formats (newsletters, live presentations, web archives). In the past, I have shown my ability to lead and manage a team of grant writers and clinical content managers. My experience prior to working in the CME field involved bench science, working for Stem Cell Development for Translational Research at the Diabetes Research Institute. I also have 4 years of experience teaching undergraduate core Biology courses at Florida International Univ. and Miami Dade College.
