About Davia Defries

I studied communications, ethics, and psychology at university. I am a life long learner who’s hungry for knowledge, self improvement, especially new technologies, innovations, and current events. I have experience in marketing and customer service through being GM of a family restaurant and as a social worker specializing in homelessness advocacy and working with the public at a community action agency. I enjoyed acting in childhood and high school, and in my free time I make cleaning videos on TikTok with a following of 150k. I am a mental health advocate and also have a website dedicated to mental health awareness and support as well as cleaning supply product reviews and recommendations. Currently I serve as senior regional producer at Brandstar where I produce television shows including Designing Spaces on Lifetime, Inside The Blueprint, and The Balancing Act with legendary Montel Williams. Our mission is to connect people to brands to do life better. I take great pride in working for an incredible company that shares my values of making a positive difference in peoples’ lives while producing world-class content to help our brand partners succeed! I’m a quick learner and love teaching myself new skills. I am outgoing, love talking to people, and I’m trustworthy and dependable. I am passionate about work and believe that there’s always room for improvement in my personal and professional life. I make decisions based on how they will affect people around me and don’t get upset about things that won’t matter a year from now. I love working in environments where everyone loves positively impacting people’s lives as much as I do!
