About David Akin

David has over 7 years of experience with Chick-fil-A where he started in the dish room at the Fayetteville Dwarf house and worked himself up to Grill and self-serve supervisor. He eventually became the hiring manager and director of hospitality at the Harvey La location. David wears many hats. He studies at the New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary and is working on his BA in ministry and minor in Psychology and counseling. He also holds a certification to the Audio Institue of America and is a Certified Pro Tools Operator. Chick-fil-A offered the flexibility David needed to work with his music evangelist family The Akins. With the Akins, he traveled all over the southeast sharing the Gospel thru music evangelism from seven years of age all the way until the year before Seminary. He ran the Akins recording studio and played Bass guitar as well. His hobbies include reading, watching movies, creating and editing podcasts, and any activity he can do with his family.
