About David Ashby

I have been in sales for 20 years now. My first 16 years, I was the account manager of the Lowe’s Home Improvement account which consisted of about stores. I made the process run smoothly from our company to theirs with quotes, orders and all issues. I then took over an account that was moving about the same amount of product as Lowes but in 4 years I’ve grown it about 350%. In my first 20 years with Americana my territory has been all 50 states which has made me well versed in all our products. It got so large now for one person, they split it up among 6 sales people and I now have my own territory of 4 states plus my old account in my states and has been a nice welcome. While working at Americana I went through the part time Police academy which took about 9 months and became a part time Police officer at Iuka Illinois. When I got off work at Americana I would then work Iuka in the evenings and weekends for 2 years. In 2001 I went through the corrections academy and worked at the Marion County Sheriff’s Department, which I really enjoyed. I try to do the best job I can, where ever I work and have made some really great friends at every place, friendships that will last a lifetime!
