About David Avila

David has just over 7 years of experience in the energy & power industry and over 3 years of experience in the project engineering field. David began his career validating key deliverables as part of SoCalGas’ 2018 Reasonableness Review filing. Having gained knowledge of the story certain key deliverables explained his responsibilities increased to technical document writing and creating reports utilized for SoCalGas’ cost recovery. David was also tasked with creation of Arc GIS maps to aid in the technical reports he drafted. David’s most recent role is a project engineer. This required knowledge of all stages of the project life cycle from pre-conception to closeout and everything in between. His expertise lies in his knowledge of pre-scoping projects, scheduling, material selection & procurement, maintaining budget, meeting deadlines, and coordinating with stakeholders to ensure project completion is met to client expectations. David is proficient in Microsoft Office,(Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and Field Data Collection.
