About David Bailey

David is a senior executive with accountability for operations, maintenance, projects, strategy, business development, risk and governance. His experience has been gained across the manufacturing, oil & gas, and energy infrastructure industries, in both operator and service provider roles. He has an exemplary track record of delivering business results whilst maintaining a balanced focus on people, safety, cost, quality and the environment. Most recently, David has been appointed a Non-Executive Director of Diverse Communities & Social Services (DCSS) and Not-for-Profit & Charity Community Consultants David is the founder and Director of Operational Integrity Pty Ltd, a niche consulting business focusing on operations excellence, risk management, operations due diligence and post-acquisition integration management. David has previously performed the role of Regional Manager responsible for heading up business development, accountability for the P&L performance and setting the strategic plan. He was also responsible for managing contract operations, project execution, maintenance and engineering services. In addition to his regional responsibilities, David provided leadership and oversight of the HSEQ performance of the national operations. During his career, David has held corporate responsibility for technical functions such as maintenance, reliability, integrity and contractor management. He has led HSE management system implementation projects for Australian operations and has been an HSE auditor of international operations. Additional to his deep understanding of operational management from managing operations in SA, QLD, VIC and NSW, David has an astute knowledge of business development and project integration management. He has a strong commercial acumen and is a seasoned contract negotiator. His experience has been gained within mature operating assets, new business developments, company mergers and company acquisitions. David has a collaborative leadership style that engages and aligns direct reports, company employees and the contractor workforce. He is recognised for developing strong relationships with investors, joint venture partners and government stakeholders which translates into superior business outcomes and smoother change processes.
