About David Barnes

I have 30 years’ experience as a maintenance planner/production controller/product data manager in the US Air Force active, civilian contractor, and US Air Force civil service. I have managed many types of aircraft and equipment through all phases of maintenance cycles. In addition I also have experience managing aircraft support equipment and munitions. My experience includes producing maintenance schedules, maintenance work packages, flying schedules, configuration management, debrief, and all aircraft and support equipment records keeping. I have extensive experience with producing presentations to leadership showing past accomplishments and future goals. I have extensive experience working with Microsoft office products (i.e: excel, word, power point). Currently hold a SECRET security clearance. I have many years’ experience supervising personnel working in the plans, scheduling, and documentation career field. In addition I have worked as a weapons system controller in a maintenance operations center, and as a unit training manager tracking qualification training for maintenance personnel. I worked hand in hand for many years with maintenance data analysts and have supervised analysis sections.
