About David Benton

I am a software architect with many years experience in Microsoft programming languages, Oracle and Data Management. I started my career writing VB6 and am now designing Data Management solutions for Lash Group. I have experience with MDM, Oracle, Informatica, and integrations with 3rd party software. My time at Navex Global has given me a lot of experience in cradle to grave implementation and allowed me to self manage everything from timelines to client relationships. My goal is to move into an official architect or project manager role in the near future. At Navex Global (Formerly Global Compliance Services) I have grown beyond just being a developer and have honed my design skills while creating multiple company websites. I am responsible for the design and development of the platform for one of the most profitable groups in the company. This client facing application was written in ASP.Net (C#) and uses a SQL server 2008 database. I enjoy working directly with the business analysis or product owner to design applications that help companies meet their needs and goals. I have a strong desire to produce well designed products that either make the company workflow more efficient or that I and my company can be proud to present to clients. I love what I do and I have made great investments not only in staying current in my field, but in challenging myself and setting goals for improvement. I am constantly reading and following trends in both the developemnt and business fields.
