I'm a vivacious self-starter who loves to bring enthusiasm and focused work ethic into the workplace. My nearly decade of experience as a technician at Apple honed a broad, interdisciplinary skillset that includes interpersonal and technical skills, troubleshooting and problem solving, learning on the fly, written and verbal communication, time management, multi-tasking, detailed record keeping, and educational skills. My degrees in both Psychology and Music came into play on a daily basis, with technicians acting also as a kind of therapist to customers concerned about their important data or looming business deadlines, all while listening carefully to the nature of the issue and composing an optimal solution that meets both customer and business needs."We're not just repairing computers, we're repairing relationships" was a foundational motto and guideline. My most recent venture into work as a professional musician and music teacher has deepened these skills in a new context where traditional job structures could no longer be relied upon. Self-direction and self-motivation are of paramount importance in preparing for rehearsals and shows. Ensuring events run smoothly on all fronts requires foresight, preparation, planning, and a broad vision of what will be needed in every facet from scheduling, to wardrobe, to gear, to travel routes and plans, to physical stamina and health. I view my work as an extension of myself and of my purpose, and my conscientious nature means I take great pride in a job done well. I am confidant I would be an asset to any team or project requiring these kinds of skills.
