Background

About David Bice

My background can best be summed up as encompassing the whole range of values for all areas of my life. I've lived in a small town, university town, big city, suburb and overseas. I attended a small high school, large public university, and prestigious private university. I have lived with some of the poorest people on earth as well as the richest and every level in-between. I have worked in the private sector, public sector, and non-profit with an extensive volunteer record as well. I can relate to most anyone, anywhere because I have lived, worked and played with them. My friends span the globe and provide a great source of information about how the world works in other places. My current job reflects this background because it draws on all my interests, skills, education and experiences - International economics, politics, data analysis, policy review, critical thinking, writing and trendspotting. I have developed my own worldview and use that as the source for evaluating events and movements in the foreign currency markets. After 35 years, however, I am seeking a new challenge that will utilize the skillset and experience that I have developed. It need not be in currency markets, I can easily adapt my skills to other areas that are in need of critical examination and policy recommendations.
