Throughout my career – in professional services; real estate development; and federal, state, and local government – I have accumulated knowledge that merges the subjects of business strategy and information technology. I also have entrepreneurial experience in starting and sustaining a small business enterprise, having co-founded a successful 11-year-old retail business. I am passionate about working with executive leaders who want to improve the way that IT not only supports their organization, but also acts as a “power-booster” for their organization. I am skilled at transforming technical concepts into understandable, business-oriented language to facilitate effective decision-making and accountability. I am equally skilled at helping leaders develop a strategic roadmap that can be used in mobilizing their organization toward an improved future. My experiences in the areas of accounting, budgeting, auditing, IT governance, and IT planning allow me to provide clients with a unique perspective that balances costs and benefits, while also taking into account an organization's particular culture.
