About David Blanc

Banking, FinTech & Wealth Management Digital Transformation Leader with entrepreneurial and enterprise expertise, specialising in private markets digitisation. David began his career in Equity Derivatives and Structured Products at UBS Investment Bank, which Euromoney recognised as the world's leading investment bank in 2002. During this time, he worked on what was then Europe's largest trading floor, while UBS also maintained the world's largest trading floor in Stamford, Connecticut. He contributed to the Vodafone-Mannesmann hostile takeover, which remains the largest M&A transaction globally. After ten years at UBS Investment Bank, he transitioned to the firm's Wealth Management division, advising ultra-high-net-worth individuals (UHNWIs). Driven by an entrepreneurial spirit, he left to disrupt the wealth management industry, co-founding Vestra Wealth LLP with initial funding from two former clients (Goldman Sachs and a large UK-based family office). Vestra became the fastest-growing independent wealth management firm in Europe. In 2016, a majority stake was sold, and the Vestra partners joined forces with the Princely Family of Liechtenstein, owners of the world's largest family-owned asset management and private banking business. After a five-year partnership, David departed, convinced of the transformative potential of digital wealth management. Drawing on his experience at UBS and LGT Vestra, and informed by over 20 years of lecturing on economics and international finance at universities and business schools, he joined two former Managing Directors at Blackstone and the former head of Nordea Investment Bank to develop a leading pan-European B2B digital platform for private equity and private market investments. ROYC is the leading European B2B financial technology company that provides a complete private markets operating system, empowering private equity firms, banks, wealth managers, and multi-family offices to seamlessly access, distribute, and manage private investments at scale. He remains based in London and travels extensively across Europe.
