About David Blansky

Following my graduation from The American University, I relocated to Boston, Massachusetts to attend the Northeastern University School of Law. During law school, I had the opportunity to spend semesters: clerking for a judge of the Massachusetts Superior Court, facilitating the deportation and denaturalization of Nazi war criminals as a law clerk for the U.S. Department of Justice Office of Special Investigations; trying cases as a public defender in New Mexico; and working in the General Counsel's Office of National Public Radio. I returned to my native New York to study for the bar and began my practice of law as an Assistant District Attorney with the Nassau County Office of the District Attorney. During my tenure as a prosecutor, I tried a variety of petty and felony cases and routinely submitted matters before the grand jury during my last year in that capacity. I left the Nassau County District Attorney's Office to transfer my litigation skills into the civil arena at a small firm in Garden City, New York. While in that office, my primary practice areas were commercial litigation and personal injury. I later decided to further specialize in commercial and bankruptcy litigation and joined LaMonica, Herbst & Maniscalco, LLP (LH & M) as an associate. In March 2007, I was elevated to partnership. After 17 years with LH & M I relocated to South Florida and joined Dunn Law, P.A, where I continue to focus on commercial and bankruptcy litigation.
