About David Blatch

My primary strength is in rapidly learning complex workflows/technologies, identifying patterns and problems, and documenting for engineering and management. I take great joy in working with my teammates and other coworkers to help everyone succeed. Working in environments where I daily communicate with managers, engineers, sales, service and clients. I speak to each group's areas of concern and expertise using language that suits them. With regards to technologies, I tend to spread my knowledge wide rather than deep. I work with it all, whether that be python or bash scripts; Cisco or Arista (multicast-centric) switch configuration; web API interactions and testing; Docker and VM setups; or troubleshooting FPGA or CPU based applications. Whatever the flavour and need of the day, I make it a point to quickly learn enough about the issue at hand to be able to handle the basics and pass the rest on to the relevant expert.
