Retired from Honeywell after 44 years. I am honored to have been a part of the same company (through 6 name changes), and to have made life long friends along the way. I will be available potentially for contract work in six months. I plan to utilize my time enjoying the things I love, which includes Engineering and programming, as well as my many hobbies. Sr Test Engineering Manager, Data & Automation - Leading a diverse team covering five distinct disciplines that support testing of Gas Turbine Engines, development of Aviation hardware, design of test stands and test cells, software development for data gathering and analysis, and web based software for a variety of applications. Sr Mechanical Engineer - Developed software to pass/fail airplane gas turbine engines based upon vibration measurements; installed in 12 production test cells at Honeywell for almost 10 years. Developed user interface touch screen software to control facility power in test cells,(active in four test cells). Developed touchscreen software to start, run, acquire data, and sell gas turbine engines based upon their performance requirements. Provide daily support test cell data acquisition systems using a variety of software (perl, tcl, pascal, C, C++, visual basic, labview, veristand, and even fortran!). Specialties: Driving teams to achieve large scale project goals, working to find ways to help team synergy using Dale Carnegie principles, and creating a positive atmosphere to work in.
