After 7 years as an Agency Owner at Farm Bureau Insurance of Michigan, I sold my agency. I am currently a commercial producer at the acquiring agency and have added voluntary employee benefits through Colonial Life in Royal Oak. I have over 20 years of experience as an entrepreneur, and 20 years of experience in corporate and personal finance and insurance. I work closely with individual and corporate clients to identify their needs and attain their objectives. I am a holder of licenses in Property & Casualty and Life insurance. I have worked at Allstate Financial Services, Spectrum Financial Resources, Plante Moran Financial Advisors and UBS Financial Services as a financial advisor to high net worth business owners and executives, and Spearhead Capital and Quarton Partners, which provide M&A advisory services. Prior to that, I have a long entrepreneurial history involving numerous business start-ups, acquisitions and sales. As a business owner, I gained an in depth understanding of the financial, organizational and personal challenges involved in running a company. I am a practitioner and strong proponent of financial modeling to aid in business forecasting, strategic thinking and decision making. I graduated from Michigan State University with a B.S. in Applied Engineering Sciences and hold an M.S. degree in Finance, with distinction, from Walsh College.
