Been doing Uber to support the myself during the times in between seasons, job training/ certifications and for the last while to be available to help raise my new born. Spent time in wildland firefighting with one season working on a type 3 fire engine and another on a hand crew. Traveled throughout California working with the dedicated hardworking firefighters of this state. I have also enjoyed the satisfaction of working construction and seeing things go from nothing to architectural masterpieces. Having the opportunity to use various tools and equipment to critically think to over come obstacles to succeed. I am well experienced as a security guard having worked big venues/events such as the Del Mar Fair, Qualcomm Stadium, The San Diego Convention Center, Viejas Arena, SDSU Open Air, etc. I have been responsible for perimeter patrol, gate entry, certification checks, stand-alone posts, and response patrol. As a loss prevention agent I have taken the hands on approach to observe, detain, and convict thieves, burglars, and robbers safely. After working 25+ stores the job has taught me the next level of vigilance, teamwork, and decision making under pressure. I have also worked as a merchandiser where I was held accountable for restocking, heavy lifting, customer service, as well as cleanliness of work and shopping area assigned.
