About David Bollone
I started tool & die in 1998 as a school/work co-op with Die Tron in my senior year. While at Die Tron I completed my apprenticeship, ran their water jet, and learned some CNC. An AutoCAD Detailer position opened in 2001 and I jumped on the opportunity. Since then I have gone on to design many progressive, line, and transfer dies using Visi Software. I now do most of our resurfacing and form moves, manipulating data and using both the surfacing tools and the deformation tools within the Visi-cad software. In 2013, I was enrolled in AutoForm Training, and now help with our simulations and springback compensation within the AutoForm software.
