About David Bond
After completion of a BSc from the University of Victoria I studied protein biochemistry, cell biology and virology as a research technician in numerous academic research labs. I continued my education in the Department of Medical Microbiology and Immunology at the University of Alberta where I received a PhD in Immunology. My interests in cell signaling and oncology led me to a Postdoctoral Fellowship studying the molecular regulators of metastasis at the University of Alberta. Excited by the extraordinary potential of cancer immunotherapies, I joined BC Cancer's Trev & Joyce Deeley Research Centre (DRC) in Victoria, BC as the Research Operations Leader. In this role I support DRC operations, academic research, core facilities and the launch of BC Cancer's Immunotherapy Program clinical trials.
