I have been working as an electrician since 2008 I started out working in the commercial/residential electrical trade. Then I wanted to learn more and better my electrical knowledge. I decided to take a chance on myself and work away from home and family in the industrial side of electrical work. I can reciprocated to multiple states as well since I have a Electrical Journeyman licenses in North Dakota. While working the past 9 years in oil and gas building compressor stations and other major midstream projects I have learned and grown my safety culture, and my management skills. I started off as an electrical apprentice and through hard work and dedication I have leadership experience and management skills that I have learned on large scale projects that made me an electrical general foreman. I take pride in my leadership and safety roles, I also enjoy teaching and learning new ways to improve myself and others on and off the job. My first journeyman gave me great advice and taught me how to be a great electrician. One of his sayings that I never forgot was “you’re only as strong as your weakest link”. That’s why I believe in making sure a crew that I run knows how to do every aspect of the job or to give them a chance to learn if willing to learn. Always willing to learn better ways to be more efficient and effective at any position that I hold. I have ran large scale crews and have been very productive to get the job done correctly, safely and efficiently with a positive attitude. I also have HVAC/R experience as well, I went to college and received an associate degree. I worked with low voltage HVAC/R controls. I follow company guidelines, protocol, NEC, and NFPA, also hold my coworkers accountable to the same standards. Directly communicate with employees if their work performance does not meet expectations and help coach them on improvements for a path forward. Maintain a high level of safety, quality and efficiency with employees and clients on and off projects. Teach crew members how to take pride in their work and to work safe and efficiently. Conduct regular inspections of crews work to ensure consistency, efficiency, safety, and quality. Read blue prints, schematics and wiring diagrams. Convert production drawings to tasks and work with the crew to complete. Ensure that all paperwork has been completed and approved prior to commencing work.
