About David Bowles

David is a seasoned museum educator with a track record of effective leadership, a passion for empowering all learners, and a knack for helping people harness their curiosity. He works as an independent museum consultant, collaborating on leadership trainings to support museums, nonprofits, and other organizations looking for fresh and lively ways to develop their teams. He also maintains a teaching practice as a contract educator at the Metropolitan Museum of Art, where he leads all types of visitors on lively guided explorations of years of human creativity. David has successfully led teams and trained hundreds of educators at the J. Paul Getty Museum, The Metropolitan Museum of Art, and the Rubin Museum of Art.
