About David Breeney

I am a senior leader with over 15 years of experience in the financial services sector, including funds management, litigation finance, life insurance, mortgage finance, real estate, superannuation, operations and finance transformation. Identified as a high-performing change agent with the ability to assess and rectify complex financial issues, develop innovative solutions and drive change initiatives to increase productivity and transform culture.I was recognised early in my career as a leader and fast tracked onto Challenger’s bespoke Leadership program run by the Australian Graduate School of Management. I continue to lead high performing diverse teams with vigour and empathy to continuously improve the finance function.I have a passion for technology in finance, believing that an automated solution is an enabler to release finance and operational professionals from the monotony of the month end processes, empowering them to add commercial value, whilst reducing risk.
