About David Brenner

David Brenner is originally from the Philadelphia area and has been a financial planner for over 40 years. He entered the profession after graduating from Muhlenberg College in Allentown, Pennsylvania, joining Keystone Financial Group in Bryn Mawr, PA. Keystone was one of the first firms in the country to combine investment and insurance services into a single, integrated planning process. He obtained his Chartered Financial Consultant designation from the American College in 1988 and the Chartered Life Underwriter designation in 1995. In 1990, he moved his practice to San Diego, California, but continues to work with many clients on the East Coast and takes great pride in the longevity his client relationships. David has spent most of his career as an independent advisor, which allows him to maintain objectivity and to put his clients’ needs first. In 1993, he established his own Registered Investment Advisor firm and now has over $160 million in assets under management. His clients, across twelve states, consist of professionals, executives, small business owners and retirees. David takes a comprehensive approach to the financial planning process, utilizing a goals-driven process that incorporates many personal and subjective factors in addition to more traditional financial elements. His longstanding relationships with his clients are based on understanding their values and educating them so that they can actively participate in making informed decisions. David and his wife and kids live in Cardiff, CA.
