About David Briers

As far as my career goals go, the kind of position I enjoy being involved in is one where I get to work with users to refine requirements, and then with a team of skilled professionals to implement these requirements into a solution to enhance the clients business). It gives me great satisfaction to know that because of the work that we do, we make other peoples lives better, by facilitating and expediting their daily tasks. In my recent experience, the tools that I've been using to facilitate this have been primarily based on the Microsoft development stack (C#.NET, MVC, SQL Server), but I've also had the opportunity to get acquainted with some of the alternatives (recently implemented a pet project using cloud based services, and Angular 2 as the front end, which was a nice change of pace for me). On a personal note, I am passionate about music (I am a lifelong student of the classical piano and guitar, as well as once again getting involved in the electric guitar), and am something of a techie. I am also an avid moviegoer and enjoy seeing live music all across the Midwest (with a wildly divergent range of musical proclivities, from opera to heavy metal).
